Walmart Foundation Grant to Benefit Mercy's Red Door Pantry in Aurora and Cassville

A $1,000 grant from the local Walmart Foundation will help fund the Red Door Market in Aurora and Cassville, which offers emergency support to co-workers in need. Through the pantry, co-workers experiencing a crisis may request emergency food support for up to six weeks to access help during a difficult time.

“This grant is such a blessing to our community, shares Soncee Partida, senior annual giving officer for Mercy Health Foundation. “We have a wonderfully supportive relationship with Walmart Foundation, and we sincerely appreciate the difference this gift will make for our co-workers in need.”
