Donations Fund New AutoPulse Resuscitation System at Mercy Hospital Aurora

Thanks to our Mercy Health Foundation donors, the Mercy Hospital Aurora Emergency Department has a new AutoPulse Resuscitation System by Zoll to assist with chest compressions, freeing up caregivers for additional critical tasks.

The AutoPulse Resuscitation System provides high-quality automated CPR to victims of sudden cardiac arrest, squeezing the patient’s entire chest to improve blood flow to the heart and brain. AutoPulse compressions can be used for as long as CPR is required, eliminating the physical and environmental challenges providers may experience from prolonged manual CPR.

This project was funded by Mercy Hospital Aurora Auxiliary, Aurora Area Community Foundation, Aurora Lions Club, Mercy Hospital Aurora, and Mercy Health Foundation Aurora/Cassville.

We are truly grateful to our generous donors for making an impact in the lives of our community.
