Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center Receives $50K Grant

Working together can make a huge difference in the life of a child. Recently, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) provided a $50,000 grant to help protect the most vulnerable at the Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center (CAMCAC).

The center’s mission is to provide a safe, child-friendly space where children are assessed when allegations of child abuse arise. The CAMCAC utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to reduce trauma placed on children during child abuse investigations, while offering a neutral child-friendly environment.

We are so grateful for UAMS’ commitment to helping children in need.
