About the Campaign

MercyWay is Mercy’s annual co-worker giving campaign that includes both Mercy Health Foundation and United Way giving options. Catherine McAuley’s legacy of service is what differentiates Mercy as a health care provider and as an employer. The campaign reminds us that it’s part of our mission to help those in need, especially those serving side-by-side or even virtually with us. As we continue to adapt to the changing health care landscape, one truth is evident: change is constant but needs persist. MercyWay is one more way Mercy
co-workers help meet those needs.

I have received help from the Crisis Fund within Mercy, and I am truly so grateful. I was going through a really hard time with expenses due to me being out of work for medical reasons and Mercy generously assisted me with help. I felt that during that time that there was no other option for me, then learned about the Crisis Fund. I then applied for it, and I prayed and prayed until I heard back on my approval. I felt hopeless, and I wanted to give up. But a miracle happened, and I was approved! Thank you so much for assistance!!! I am forever thankful!

I give to Mercy Way to help my fellow co-workers and my community. I had a unexpected death in the family a few years back. Our hearts were broken and the financial impact of a funeral was overwhelming at the time. I received some financial assistance from the foundation to assist towards the cost of the cremation. This was a God send. I know how I felt at the time, so I feel blessed to be able to make a difference and help someone out in their time of need.
