Valerie Stricker has been named vice president of Mercy Health Foundation at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Mercy Hospital South, effective immediately. She stepped in to serve as interim vice president of development at these hospitals May 4 and has done an amazing job.

Valerie has over 30 years of professional fundraising experience and has lead hospital foundations for over 20 years. For the last eight years, she served as executive director of Mercy South. Prior to joining Mercy, she was executive director of SSM DePaul Healthcare Foundation from 2001 to 2013.
