Cancer has met its match

With your help, we can change the way cancer care is delivered in St. Louis.

The David C. Pratt Matching Gift Challenge

With your help, we can change the way cancer care is delivered in St. Louis. Our vision for the future of Pratt Cancer Center is one where every patient is guided by a gentle hand and supported with advanced treatments to aid in the fight to both beat cancer and reclaim a full life.

Thanks to a matching gift of up to $10 million from Mr. David C. Pratt we are closer than ever to realizing our goal of $23 million to improve cancer care for all who come to us to receive care.

When you give, your generosity makes you part of the meaningful life stories of all those who will survive – and thrive – because of your support.

Your gift can support the following initiatives:

Nurse Navigator Program

Nurse Navigator Program

This unique program provides oncology-trained nurse navigators who work with cancer patients and their families, providing guidance and helping coordinate care. Our goal is to provide a nurse navigator to every patient diagnosed with cancer.

Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program

Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program

Mercy’s Adolescent and Young Adult program is the only dedicated AYA program in the St. Louis region. Our plan is to establish a dedicated space and comprehensive program to better meet the cancer-care needs for our patients in this particular stage of life.

Surgical Specialties and Robotics

The most advanced form of radiotherapy currently available, Proton Therapy can focus on targeting the cancer tumor, with minimal side-effects on the surrounding tissue. Mercy’s new Proton Therapy Center will be completed in 2022.

Second Opinion Clinic

The Second Opinion clinic will offer individualized care including genomics and research to help match cancer patients with clinical trials or therapies specifically targeted to their unique physiologies.
