Today, Mercy Clinic Laredo is a continuation of the works of mercy begun by the Sisters of Mercy in the late 1800s.
In fidelity to the charism of the Sisters of Mercy of caring for those who are poor, sick, and lacking education, Mercy Clinic is committed to providing compassionate care and exceptional service to those entrusted to our care.
Mercy Clinic provides primary health care services to low-income residents of Webb County. Most of the patients are per diem workers without medical insurance coverage and few benefits if any. Our health care team focuses on education, prevention and early detection. Our patients are encouraged and coached to be advocates for their own health, and to proactively manage their chronic diseases.
Mercy Clinic Laredo is not a free clinic. Every qualifying patient has an opportunity to undergo a financial screening process and the cost for various services is based on a sliding scale.
Mercy Clinic Laredo is an Integrated Behavioral Health Primary Care Clinic.
For more than 125 years, the Sisters of Mercy have cared for the people of Laredo and the surrounding area. Your generous donations help Mercy Clinic-Laredo continue to minister to those entrusted to our care for years to come.
